Instructions for using massage chairs

1、 Turn on the power
Find the power plug of the massage chair and plug it into a grounded power outlet to ensure stable power supply.
On the control panel of a massage chair, there is usually a power switch or start button. Pressing this button will turn on the power of the massage chair, and the indicator light on the control panel will light up. Some massage chairs may also have a start sound effect.
2、 Select massage mode
Automatic massage mode: Most high-end massage chairs are pre-set with multiple automatic massage programs to meet the needs of different users. For example, the “whole body soothing mode” is suitable for daily relaxation and can provide comprehensive and gentle massage to various parts of the body; The “deep decompression mode” has strong intensity, focusing on deep massage of fatigue prone areas such as shoulders, neck, and waist to relieve muscle tension; The ‘sleep assist mode’ uses a gentle massage rhythm to help relax the body and mind, and promote sleep. You can select the automatic massage program that suits your current needs through the “Auto Mode” button on the control panel or the corresponding mode selection button.
Manual massage mode: If automatic mode cannot meet your personalized needs, you can switch to manual mode. In this mode, you can make detailed adjustments to specific areas and massage techniques. Select the body parts that you want to focus on massaging through the location selection buttons on the control panel, such as “neck”, “shoulders”, “back”, “waist”, “hips”, “legs”, etc. Then, use the massage technique selection button. Common massage techniques include kneading, massage, tapping, finger pressure, etc. Different massage techniques can be combined according to personal preferences to apply to the selected area. At the same time, it can also adjust the massage intensity and speed. The intensity is generally divided into multiple levels, ranging from gentle to strong, and the speed can be fast or slow to achieve the most comfortable massage experience.
3、 Adjust the position and angle of the massage chair
Backrest adjustment: There are usually “backrest forward” and “backrest back” buttons on the control panel. Pressing the “backrest back” button will slowly tilt the backrest back, and you can adjust it to the appropriate angle according to your own needs. For example, semi lying down is used for daily relaxation, while almost lying down is suitable for deep massage or rest. If you want to return to an upright sitting position, press the “backrest forward tilt” button.
Leg extension: The leg massage area of some high-end massage chairs can be adjusted according to the user’s height. Find the ‘Leg Stretching’ button, press it, and the leg massage part will stretch forward or backward until the leg is completely snug and comfortable. This ensures that users of different heights can receive good leg massage effects.
Zero gravity mode: Some high-end massage chairs have zero gravity function, simulating weightlessness in space, evenly distributing pressure in various parts of the body, further enhancing the relaxation effect. Find the “Zero Gravity” button on the control panel, press it, and the massage chair will automatically adjust to the zero gravity angle. To exit zero gravity mode, press the button again.
4、 Use additional features
Heating function: During the massage process, if you feel cold or want to enhance local blood circulation, you can turn on the heating function. Find the “Heat” button on the control panel, which usually allows you to select the heating area, such as the waist, back, etc. Some massage chairs can also adjust the heating temperature, choose the temperature gear that suits you, and enjoy a warm and comfortable massage.
Airbag massage: High end massage chairs are equipped with multiple airbags on the shoulders, arms, hips, legs, and other areas. The inflation and deflation of the airbag can be controlled through the “airbag” button on the control panel. You can choose to activate specific parts of the airbag massage or opt for a full airbag massage. At the same time, it can also adjust the inflation strength of the airbag. The stronger the strength, the stronger the squeezing sensation, which can be adjusted according to individual tolerance.
Foot massage: Most massage chairs are equipped with specialized foot massage devices, which may include rollers, protrusions, etc. This function can be activated through the “Foot Massage” button on the control panel. Some massage chairs also offer multiple foot massage modes, such as roller rolling, acupoint pressing, etc., to meet different foot massage needs.
5、 End massage
When the massage time is over or you want to end the massage early, stop the ongoing massage program first. If in automatic mode, press the ‘stop’ button; If in manual mode, each massage function needs to be turned off one by one, such as stopping the area massage first, then turning off the airbag, heating and other functions.
Adjust the backrest, legs, and other parts of the massage chair to the initial position, usually with the backrest upright and the legs reset.
Finally, turn off the power switch of the massage chair and unplug the power plug to ensure electrical safety.
If any abnormal situation occurs during the use of the massage chair, such as excessive noise, loose components, or functional failure, it should be immediately stopped and professional maintenance personnel should be contacted for inspection and repair. At the same time, it is recommended to use massage chairs reasonably according to personal physical condition and bearing capacity. The duration of each massage should not be too long to avoid excessive fatigue or physical injury.
